Star Trek Character Miniatures – Retro Sci-Fi Girls

I picked these miniatures up a couple years ago from Hasselfree Miniatures while looking for Battlestar Galactica characters. It has been more years than I care to figure out since I last painted any character miniatures, and I didn’t want to start right off the bat with the expensive sets of Modiphius Star Trek Adventures minis. I’m quite happy with how they turned out.

Yup, pretty much as advertised.
Did the skin tone areas first. Mixed in a little light brown with the flesh tone paint. I like my crew members to have a bit of a tan.
Added colour for the uniforms. I actually ended up redoing the blue uniform as I felt this original blue was too dark.
Add some nice shiny boots.
And a variety of hair colours

Test fitting into the stands. Not a great fit. Hard to tell in this photo but the blue uniform has been redone.
First black wash went on a little too thick, ended up having to go back and touch things up. Also, used black Milliput to seal them into the bases and add a little texture.
Touched up and sealed with Dullcoat.
